Piacere : to like. A me piace spesso mangiare un’insalata. I often like to eat a salad. I like : a me piace.

A brothel : una casa di piacere ( even though it's more common the expression ‘ casa di tolleranza ‘ ).

Take pleasure in doing something = provare piacere nel fare qualcosa.
